Fair Project Friday

Meet Brooke and Morgan Cooper along with their dairy goats, Clover and Lyla, of Fond du Lac County! Brooke and Morgan are members of the Forest Hills 4-H Club and the Campbellsport FFA Chapter. Not only do these two show dairy goats, but they also participate in the market goat and dairy cattle projects. Growing up on a dairy farm has sparked both of their interest in agriculture and got them started in 4-H at a young age.

Being involved in these fair projects have helped the girls understand the importance of being patient and well prepared. As Brooke works closely with her dairy goat, Clover, she says that Clover has quiet the personality! Clover’s ancestry goes back to one of Brooke’s original does and tends to be a little on the sassy side. Brooke says that she is sassy too so they make a great pair and makes Clover extra special. Lyla, Morgan’s dairy goat, on the other hand was born in May and is very driven by food. Morgan can keep Lyla from acting “crazy” with a little snack when working with her.

Brooke’s favorite part of the fair is making connections with people that do not get to see agriculture every day. While Morgan’s favorite part is getting to see friends that they only get to see at the fair and reconnecting with them!

You will be able to find Brooke, Morgan, Clover and Lyla all at the Fond du Lac County Fair. Brooke and Morgan will be showing all their projects Wednesday and Thursday of the fair and will participate in the market auction on Thursday evening. Make sure you stop by and say “Hi” to these two! Good luck at the Fair!

#FairProjectFriday...post #13... To show our support to the next generation of agriculture, Country Visions Cooperative will be giving a snapshot look of youth and their fair projects each Friday.
